Distribution Plan
Morris and Oswald is intended for the short film festival circuit, and will be submitted to all of the major festivals upon completion. The film’s highly stylized look and its integrated animation makes it unique from the bulk of narrative shorts. As a quirky comedy it stands out among the average short-form drama.
Director Kelly Goeller has had her films screened at eleven festivals and showcases in New York City and on Long Island, winning Best Feature and Best in Show for her 2005 film Alive. Kelly’s screenings have included the Long Island International Film Expo and the NoFo Film Festival, which featured her documentary Honduras. With massive success in festivals thus far, Kelly hopes to carry Morris and Oswald past the production stages and on to the festival circuit.
The film’s post production timeline marks a picture lock date of July 1st, 2008, which enables it to meet the deadlines of the major festivals below for the 2009 winter and spring seasons.
